Conditions of Participation
All change wild! events take place under the open sky, at possibly uncomfortable weather conditions or at dark, in varied and partly difficult terrain, in the midst of all natural beings and in the community of all participants. You are prepared to embark on such a journey.
Your physical and mental condition allows you to join the program booked. This applies also to participating children and youth who are in your care. You dispose of equipment that is suited to the program. Insufficient condition or equipment can lead to exclusion from the program, in case it might jeopardize your safety, the safety and wellbeing of others, or the course of the program.
As a participant you keep full responsibility for yourself (and, where applicable, for children and youth who are in your care) during the entire program.
You follow the instructions for your safety and the safety of others during the entire course of the program.
We do actively work for the safety and wellbeing of all participants. Yet we can’t guarantee for events which are beyond our reach. The programs might be subject to changes due to unforseen circumstances.
Naturally, we shall incur liability for loss or damage falling into the responsibility of change wild!, and those cases are covered by a corresponding insurance. It is your own responsibility as a participant to provide a personal travel and accident insurance.
In case you have special needs concerning food, accomodation, activities or emergencies, you point them out in the booking process already. If informed later, it might be impossible to take them into account.
The use of alcohol and drugs is not welcome.
Individual Participants
The terms listed in the Conditions of Participation section apply to you as individually booking participant of any change wild! event.
If you have decided to take part in a course of The Human-Nature Quest, you can book your place directly via the booking form.
In all other cases, you simply send us a request via the contact form or by e-mail. We will then contact you directly to formalise your booking.
Following your booking, we will send you a confirmation, all further programme information and payment details.
Your spot is reserved as soon as we receive a deposit of 10% of the full price, rounded up to a round 10,- € / 100,- nok. The deposit is due in general 14 days after invoice issued.
The remaining invoice amount is to be paid not less than 30 days prior to the start of the program. If the booking takes place on shorter terms, the whole billing amount is immediately due. You can solely participate in a program, if the billing amount is fully paid prior to the program start.
You can freely cancel your booking over 30 days prior to the start. In this case, we will refund your previous payments immediately, minus the above mentioned deposit.
In case you cancel your booking less than 30 days prior to the start, 50% of the invoice amount are due. We will refund possible excess amounts from your previous payments immediately.
In case you don’t show up at the start of a program, or you voluntarily break up a program that already has started, there will be no refund.
If you put another participant to take your place instead, we will fully refund your payments, minus the above mentioned deposit.
change wild! can cancel programs due to unforeseen circumstances or the lack of participants. In these cases the whole billing amount is refunded. In case a running program is to break off due to unforeseen circumstances, the billing amount is refunded proportionally to the services not delivered yet at the point of the break off and the costs incurred.
You (and children or youth who are in your care) can be excluded from a program due to jeopardizing your own safety, the safety and wellbeing of others, or the course of the program by reasons you are responsible for (see Conditions of Participation section above). This case doesn’t justify any claim for refund.
Organized Groups
The Conditions of Participation listed above apply to all participants of any change wild! event for organized groups. As responsible contact, you inform all participants about these general terms.
Booking an event for an entire group requires prior arrangement.
Provided that the program schedule has been clarified, you as the responsible contact will notify us via the contact form or by e-mail as soon as the agreed minimum number of participants has been reached. We will then send you a booking template with all the relevant program details. You complete the participant-related information to the booking template and send it back to me. In another e-mail we will confirm your booking and send you all further program information and a payment notice.
In case of changes on the part of the group, you will immediately update the booking information by correcting the previously completed booking template and re-send it to us. You make sure all relevant information is available to us at any time: complete, accurate, up-to-date and summarized in one place – the booking template.
In general, the full invoice amount is to be paid not less than 30 days prior to the start of the program. In case you book on shorter terms, the whole amount is due immediately. A program can only run, or a participant can only join, if the respective billing amount is fully paid prior to the program start.
We grant 5% discount on the invoice amount if you comply with the booking and payment modalities described above. Otherwise, we reserve the right to invoice the respective amount subsequently.
You can freely cancel your group booking until 90 days prior to the start. In this case, we will refund your previous payments immediately, minus a deposit of 5% of the invoice amount.
In case you cancel your group booking 90 to 30 days prior to the start, 50% of the invoice amount are due. We will refund possible excess amounts from your previous payments immediately.
In case you cancel your group booking less than 30 days prior to the start, the full the invoice amount is due. No refund then.
Should another group book the same period you cancelled, we will fully refund your payments, minus a deposit of 5% of the invoice amount.
These refund rules only apply to the cancellation of an entire group. Cancellations of individual participants will be fully refunded, provided the minimum number of participants is not undercut.
