Connect to Nature

We are born with a longing to be in touch with nature. Contact with nature gives us the reality check we need to feel that we exist and how we fit into the world.

Your Relationship with Nature

Friendship needs care. So does your relationship with nature. It grows with each new encounter, with increasing intimacy, in conflict or in unity.

A wilderness retreat is a unique opportunity to get in touch with the living world and strengthen the bond with it. A wilderness retreat allows you to:

So your connection to nature can grow.

Develop Yourself

Seekers have always retreated into the wilderness. Even today we can find ourselves away from everyday life and develop as human beings.

Your Development Journey

The wilderness offers no distractions and accepts no excuses. In search of your own nature, your deeper self, it becomes a mirror of your actions and attitudes. The wild responds directly to you.

Being close to outer nature even allows you to get in touch with your inner nature. This encounter with the sources of your life will help you to grow personally.

A wilderness retreat creates just such a setting that supports your self-development. Your journey is flanked by:

It is this safe space from which you can grow personally towards your full potential.

Share Your Gifts

Life makes sense when your purpose transcends your self. Finding life purpose is a matter of unfolding and sharing your gifts with the world.

In Search of a Purpose in Life

The living world as a diverse whole and you as a seemingly separate being are inextricably intertwined. For in an interplay of influence and reaction, both our world and we ourselves are in a constant process of reshaping.

Who you are and what your purpose might be is not given. Only you can find out where you are in life and where your journey might go.

What excites you? — What leaves you cold?
What do you respond to? — What effects do you trigger?
Where do you come from? — Where will you go?

By carefully observing how you interact with the world, you will gain clarity.

In a wilderness retreat, the interplay is undisturbed by outside pressures, so clear patterns emerge. They point the way to your life’s purpose:

Then life will make sense.

Our North Star

Connect to Nature

Helping people get in touch with themselves and reach out to the world has always been the guiding star for me and my work at change wild!

change wild!

Only by knowing where we are can we steer our way to where we want to go. This is meant to be more than just a self-centred expression.

We can only make sense of life by reaching beyond ourselves. This requires us to be in touch with ourselves and the living world around us. Only then can we unfold our higher potential and mature from a self-constrained ego to a life-connected eco.

The key to this path is to develop a connection with nature, with the living world. As members of the community of life on planet Earth, we have an innate longing for this anyway.

The degree of interconnectedness with the living world makes the difference between a wild and a domesticated being. So: change wild!
